 Protection or Free Trade

The current Fair Trade movement attempts to protect the interests of those who labour to produce the goods we enjoy from overseas including the clothes we wear and the food we eat.

Henry George, in his book "Protection or Free trade" considered these issues and identified fundamental principles relevant to them. In this course we shall address the 'trade' question inthe light of these principles.

We shall first study Henry George's book and then explore the application in modern-day cases, of the principles he identified.

The courses will be presented by HGF Chariman Mr David Triggs, and will be held at the School of Economic Science, 11 Mandeville Place, London W1, starting on Wednesday 30th of April  start time is 7.00 pm,

The cost of the series is £75.00, (£50 concession, £20 students) which includes a copy of "Protection or Free Trade"

For bookings please contact The School of Economics Science on 020 7034 4000.
